DASH

I dashed out for burgers with my parents today! Huge, juicy, messy burgers from this place call Charlie's, not far from my pediatrician's clinic. My dad was craving a big sloppy burger. Then we dashed over to my doctor's right after my folks ate. She gave me some antibiotics - I have this persistent phlegm thingy in my lungs - my parents worry about bronchitis or asthma, so best to be preventive, they say! Apart from the antibiotics, my doctor recommended we use a nebulizer 2-3 times a day for 5 days, just in case! I'll be turning 6 months old on the 18th, so my doctor had to up the dosage for some of my daily vitamins. And guess what - she said I'll be starting on solids soon as I hit 6 months! Hurrah! I'll be able to gobble up those greasy burgers with my Papu and Mamu pretty soon!!! P.S. Little hearts on my onesie - my Mamu made me wear something for girls again! Aaaargh!

I want a burger toooooooo!
Waiting for my doctor now. I look like a big boy in this picture, don't you think?
They measured my height and I ate my feet while they were at it!

POOH

My grandmother Luli got me my entire outfit - from head to toe! Teehee! That was the romper I used during my baptism reception. I love it - it even has a little pocket. My Luli even got me matching Pooh socks. I like Pooh - of all the animated movies my parents have made we watch (and in some cases - endure!), I liked Pooh best. Those are the white sneakers with the little red bicycles on them - the ones my Mamu liked so much she got me the exact same pair, too. I wore this outfit when I went out to lunch in a mall called TriNoma with my parents, my Luli, my Lolo ("grandfather"), and my yaya ("nanny") Sabs, in a restaurant called Recipes. We celebrated my Papu passing the Philippine bar as well! I wish my Uncle Jino could have made it - but he's my Luli's other baby - he sleeps even longer than I do!

DOCTOR DOCTOR

Wasn't really scheduled to go to my doctor today - but we found out my doctor was back from vacation so we hurried over to her clinic for my vaccine shot! I didn't have any clothes - good thing we came from my grandmother Luli's house, and she had just bought a new tank top for me (she got me those white leather hi-tops, too!). She got matching shorts, too, but less than an hour of wearing them, I got marks on my sides already - the new shorts were too tight. (Thank goodness we had an extra pair of shorts in my diaper bag - I would hate to face my pretty pretty doctor wearing just nappies!!!!!!) Shucks though, to think the shorts my Luli got me were brand new, too... Hey! I'm not overweight. Really. My doctor said so. She weighed and measured me and everything. She said I was just right. So maybe I just look overweight, teehee. My Ninong ("godfather") Zito says I'm "festively plump." There.

Hospital regular!

My Mamu really liked the baby shoes my Luli got me. So she bought me the exact same pair - now I have one pair for Luli's house, and one pair for our house.
I like the little etchings on the sneakers, too - especially of the little red bike!
